Our most prestigious Hall of Fame Awards will be conferred upon to seven (7) outstanding individuals. This year’s theme is “Developing Inclusive Collaborations Through Community Building.” These awards identify selfless individuals who work behind the scenes without seeking the limelight for their efforts, while lending credit to others. In everything that they do, they respect all of our communities’ citizens-- generously increasing access to resources and promoting equal treatment and opportunity. We recognize that even though an individual may differ in some ways; we often share common personal goals and objectives. These awardees are unique individuals who have reached out to the community as well as individuals to help them overcome obstacles without expecting any reward or recognition.
In addition to recognizing the exemplary character and commitment as well as the viable work in the community, this is a fundraiser for the D.R.E.A.M. Foundation. This fundraiser assists us to continue many of our initial projects including providing scholarships for youth and grants to community-based programs as well as coordinate community health workshops and improve provisions for senior citizens and indigent members of our community during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
